Study of the gallery for class exhibit “Beyond the Print” Water Molecules Installation.
Green (transparent) and clear cast glass maquette (three dimensional sketch), or small sculpture - that maybe could be furthered, representing otters grooming each other.

Painting box with flaps that fold back, and a front flap that drops open, to carry paintings and canvases. Canvas support lifts from top. Original maquette was in cardboard, including front flap that drops down. It was influenced by C. Judson's art box - but different, without sides, - and with a canvas carrying area, and integral pull-out canvas support for larger works. Final design with G. Bettencourt who suggested side flaps (instead of no sides) that folded back - protecting what is in the box when closed, and also engineered the pull-out canvas grip. Built by G. Bettencourt, incorporating C. Judson's art box's adjustable side hinge, and feet, and plate for attachment to tripod.

Academic, with K. Gleason. A model made of cardboard with sticky green modeling clay - the kind that stays wet, as it contains oil. Partially "alla prima" - as made while standing on the Walnut street Bridge in Philadelphia (my original project was a zoo extension project, however, as the river floods, the idea was let go - and this was what followed. It is
Academic. Along the Schuykill River – a place for some sand, some marshy ground, wildflowers, butterflies, and the possibility of touching, interacting with the river more closely.

Academic. Scale model; academic: for concrete sculpture – about 10″ x 10″ x 10″. Concrete colored only with natural sand and stone. It should not be constructed as it is.
Large very heavy plaster model - hollow, 3-dimensional - with a metal bottom. Maybe 1 1/4 feet wide, by about 2+ feet long? Not sure of exact dimensions - I kept it for years, but due to difficulty to pick up and move it, one day I brought it to the town's transfer station. What a model. Everyone was making plaster models at once.
Academic. Museum of Fine Arts – the absolutely grand, can sled down in winter, staircase in front of the Museum of Fine Arts, Philadelphia, PA. (This eventually, sadly, went to the dump – it took up a lot of room.).
