Poems

As a child I enjoyed poetry. I do not read much poetry, but enjoy reading it; I would not consider myself a poet, but I became a language major and enjoy languages.

I have written about a dozen poems. Hopefully none offend, even if with enough people present there will be a breadth of viewpoints and of known parts of histories, and so something of everyone’s art might offend at least a few people, but I still would hope not.

My poems I believe to be poems, but am not absolutely certain if that is correct linguistically or historically. They are poems written for solace, for experimentation, for a medium to think with.

Poetry can be quick to read, even if later it needs re-reading, and quick to get a thought formed, even if later it needs re-writing, and I like that.
