Flax oil refined from two trials.
One trial yielded a quite clear oil, but in too small quantity, and it was not tested with pigments. (I am not certain whether the darker oil was from the same trial, or a different trial – I need to go back into notes – its been about 8 years, and am uncertain). This did yellow slightly once dry. Though this bit of oil was not tested, many other flax oils tested by M. Price with mineral pigments, including some from the oil trials, yellowed with mineral pigments.
